The large ginkgo, which is estimated to be over 1,100 years old, is spectacular.

Located in the grounds of Tsutsuga Otoshi Shrine is a large ginkgo tree that is 49 meters tall and 8.2 meters in circumference. It is estimated to be over 1,100 years old and has been designated a natural monument of Hiroshima Prefecture. During the autumn foliage season, the tree is lit up, creating a fantastical world. When the leaves fall, the entire area is transformed into a golden carpet.
