The first in Hiroshima Prefecture and Western Japan: Try a rail mountain bike ride in Miyoshi
The Miyoshi SL Preservation Club, with the cooperation of the NPO Kamioka Town Development Network, which operates a rail mountain bike on the former Kamioka Railway in Oku-Hida, a pioneer of rail mountain bikes, will begin operating three rail mountain bikes in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, using the abandoned section of the former JR San'in Line (a section of about 1.5 km in both directions, starting from Ozekiyama Station), the first of its kind in western Japan. The bikes will run every 30 minutes from 9:00 to 15:30, mainly on weekends and holidays from April to November every year. Please come and experience the ride with your family.
