Hiroshima Hand Story Festival 2025

Learn about Hiroshima you never knew existed through the stories of the buildings.

The buildings that have shaped the town each have their own stories engraved into them.
The Hiroshima Tate Monogatari Festa (Tate Fes) is an event where you can see, touch, and learn about Hiroshima's fascinating architecture through a variety of programs, including special architectural exhibitions and guided tours.
This year, we have prepared 49 programs in Hiroshima and Kure. Why not discover a side of Hiroshima you never knew existed through the stories of its buildings?

There are 37 architectural open houses and guided tours (31 buildings, 6 walking tours). Some require prior registration, but there are also many buildings that can be viewed without registration.

Six architectural design offices in Hiroshima City will be open to the public. Please stop by along with the architectural open house and guided tour.

Special seminars and workshops for children will be held (6 locations).
