Mozu Miniature Exhibition: Welcome to a small world (Sogo Department Store)

The "Mozu Exhibition" allows visitors to experience the world of creator Mozu, who has become a hot topic on social media and garnered attention from both domestic and international media. Known for his meticulous miniature creations that realistically recreate everyday scenes, Mozu is a popular artist with over 1.5 million followers on social media. His first Hiroshima exhibition, held in March 2023, garnered significant attention. This long-awaited second exhibition features Mozu's signature works, as well as his most popular social media hits, plus new works being shown in Hiroshima for the first time. This exhibition showcases Mozu's diverse creative world, including not only miniatures but also stop-motion animation and trick doodles. Visitors can also experience the behind-the-scenes aspects of his creative process, including a reproduction of his desk. Photography is permitted for most of his works, including his miniatures and trick doodles. Bring your camera or smartphone and come visit the exhibition.

During the event, a photo spot resembling Mozu's desk will be set up at the venue! Climb onto the desk and become a dwarf!

Born in 1998, Mozu studied visual media expression at Tokyo Metropolitan Comprehensive Arts High School and is active in three fields: stop-motion animation, miniatures, and trick doodling. During high school, a miniature recreation of his own room became a hot topic for its "realistic look," and he won the DigiCon6 ASIA JAPAN Youth Grand Prize for his stop-motion work "Out of Order." He has since expanded his activities, publishing a collection of his works, creating miniatures for "Isle of Dogs," participating in "Rilakkuma and Kaoru," and releasing the trick doodling collection "NOUTO." In 2019, he founded MOZU STUDIOS, Inc., and has collaborated with numerous major companies and popular content creators. His personal "Dwarf Series" has also garnered popularity, and in 2021 he published a collection of his works from the "Dwarf Series," titled "The World of Dwarfs." His exhibitions have toured the country, attracting a total of 150,000 visitors. That same year, he won the NY ADC Young Guns 19 and Creative Choice Award. He appeared on "Jonetsu Tairiku" in 2022. The exhibition, "Mozu Miniature Exhibition: Welcome to a Small World," was renewed in 2023 and is currently being held.
