The collection exhibition has also been renewed!
After a long period of closure and a special exhibition commemorating the renewal, the collection exhibition will finally resume.
In this exhibition, from rooms 1 to 4, you will be familiar with the characteristics of the museum's collection and will introduce exhibits in line with related themes. Rooms 1 to 3 are “collection highlights,” and you will be able to view the works in the collection through keywords attached to each room. Then, in room 4, we will not limit the contents of the exhibition to the collection, but will carry out a project that is positioned as an extension of the collection exhibitions related to the museum's collection policy, collected works, or the Hiroshima region, etc. under the title “Collection Relations.”
In this exhibition, Murakami Tomoshige, whose main means of expression is photography, and Kuroda Daisuke, who works on video works based on research on modern and contemporary sculpture, will be invited as guest artists, and they will see Hiroshima as seen from their respective perspectives through works created in connection with Hiroshima.

After the reopening, there were lots of new experiments at the first collection exhibition!
Once a month, the collection exhibition will be free “Hello! “Collection Days” and various tours and appreciation events to enjoy collection exhibitions will be held to create opportunities for more people to meet the collection.
