Road Station North Sekijuku Akitakata

Located next to the Takada IC on the Chugoku Expressway, this roadside station is the northern gateway to Aki-Takata City. Designed with a nostalgic, retro interior and exterior, it is used by many people as a place to rest, receive tourist information, and as a local exchange hub. The station also houses the direct-from-the-farm "Yama-no-ichi/Umi-no-ichi" and "Nagaiki Ramen Shokudo" shops, as well as a convenience store, so you can stop by to take a break and look for something tasty to eat. The convenience store is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for the convenience of local residents. There are also toilets available 24 hours a day, including for the physically disabled.
