A place related to Kobo Ambassador where Kannon is enshrined, and a superb view point where you can enjoy the beauty of nature
About 1200 years ago, Kobo Daishi stopped by Kamagari and proclaimed that the mountain was a sacred place where the 11-faced Kannon should be enshrined, and so the Kannon was enshrined. From the park, you can get a panoramic view of both the Romantic Beach Prefectural Beach and Koigahama Beach, both certified as one of Japan's 100 Best Beaches, across the Kurohana Peninsula. From here, you can climb the stone steps to reach Sairakuji Temple. If you walk along the Nishidomari Romantic Path, you will come to a spectacular view point that seems to float above the sea, where you can fully enjoy the natural beauty.
