This bridge, which connects Teshima and Osaki Shimojima, is 543m long, 9m wide, and 23.5m high and opened in November 1992. It is a three-span continuous truss bridge with one lane each way and a sidewalk on one side. The sidewalk side is decorated with a relief of a loon, Hiroshima's prefectural bird, making it a friendly bridge that matches the blue sea. Looking out towards Shikoku from the bridge, you can see the beautiful Iseshima Island floating in the Seto Inland Sea, and the view of the bridge from the middle of Mt. Jumonji is like something out of a painting.
