Former Prefectural Brewing Branch Sake Spring Hall

The Hiroshima Prefectural Brewing Research Station's Saijo Sake Brewery is a Western-style building. Founded in 1928, it played a major role in improving sake brewing techniques by brewing the brand "Meiko" from 1929. In 1957, it changed its name to "Saijo Branch Sake Brewery." It is currently owned by Kamoizumi Sake Brewery and is used as "Shusenkan," which has been renovated into a cafe, and "Aisenkan," where you can experience indigo dyeing.
