A park where the famous Seishinji Temple and nature merge
The surrounding area has been developed as a park, and from the observation deck within the garden you can get a panoramic view of Japan's tallest arch bridge, the Hiroshima Sky Arch. At the ancient temple, Seishin-ji, which has ties to the Kobayakawa family, you can view the statues of the Twenty-Eight Guardian Deities, which have been designated as an Important Cultural Property of the prefecture (admission fee is 200 yen per person). It is also a famous cherry blossom spot, and in April when the cherry blossoms bloom, the Seishin-ji Festival is held, featuring a procession of komuso monks and performance offerings. From July to August, beautiful lotus flowers bloom in the lotus pond, decorating the garden.
