Japan's only "peace" museum
This elegant red brick building stands in the nature-rich Mirasaka Peace Park. As the only "peace" museum in Japan, it has a permanent exhibition of works by Mirasaka native Shunzo Kakite, and holds special exhibitions about six times a year. The building has a tranquil atmosphere, and you can enjoy a relaxing moment in the lobby overlooking the Japanese garden.
