A river that originates near Mt. Dogo on the border of Tottori Prefecture in the northeastern part of Hiroshima Prefecture, runs from Saijo Town, passes through Shobara City and Kuchiwa Town, and connects to the Enokawa River.
The Saijo River and Hiwa River originating from the Chugoku Mountains are bustling with people from as far away as the Kansai region as soon as the sweetfish fishing ban is lifted. Throughout the year, you can enjoy mountain stream fishing in spring, sweetfish fishing in summer, as well as carp, eel, and minnow fishing.
