A family temple built by Michisuke Yamauchi on the hillside of Mt.

Entsu-ji Temple is located on the southern slope of Kabutoyama Castle, the residence of the Yamauchi clan, the land lord of Jibinosho, and its main hall is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. It is said that in 1324, Gyokushu of Saga Tenryu-ji Temple was invited to be the temple's founder, and the temple was restored during the Tenbun era (1532-1555), and has an authentic Chinese style Buddhist hall. There is also a painting of a dragon on the ceiling, believed to have been done by Sesshu. When Ouchi Yoshitaka was defeated in his attack on Izumo, the defeated Mori Motonari fled alone to Kabutoyama Castle to escape danger, and the relationship between the two clans is said to have become close since then.
