Kuchiwa Folk Museum

The museum has preserved the atmosphere of the wooden school building of the former Shobara Kakuchi High School Kuchiwa Branch, and displays farm implements and tools used by local people in modern times, as well as modern household items. Many early information devices, including gramophones and telephones, are on display, and you can see many pieces of equipment still in use at the time, including an extensive collection of records and nostalgic theatrical films. There is also the only arc lamp projector in Japan still in working order.
