A priest's house said to be built in the 17th century

It is a private house built at the end of the 17th century (early Edo period). The priest's house at Moriwaki Hachimangu has five rooms, including the characteristic "Takama" of the priest's house and the "Daya" farming work for raising cows. The pillars are carved with a tool called a hatchet, and have a girder line of 20.6m, a beam spacing of 10.9m, and a reed-roofed Irimoya-zukuri. It is designated as a national important cultural property.
