The water that springs out from Iwama is called the “Fountain of Eternal Age,” and it quenches the thirst of visitors.

Of the limestone caves scattered around Taishaku Gorge, this is the only one that can be visited. The entrance is narrow, but the cave is about 200m deep, and at its widest point, it is 5m wide and 20m high. The floor inside the cave is all wooden, safe, and has electric lighting. Once inside, the natural beauty of the walls approaches from both sides, creating a sight beyond imagination. You can see stalactites and stalactites of various shapes. After touring this cave, you will feel satisfied that you have seen something great.
