Every year on the 3rd Sunday of April, a horse-riding ritual is held.
The "Red-laced Armor and Helmet with Large Silk," donated by Takamichi Yamauchi, the lord of Kabutoyama Castle, is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. The shrine's festivals still feature the "Fast Galloping Horse" event, in which horses galloped back to deliver news of the victory in the battle against the Amago army during the Eiroku era.
