A shrine with a long history that has continued to be worshiped since the Heian period. The autumn festival is held in September every year.

In the Heian period, the shrine was listed as "Osaki Higashimyojin" in the Aki Province Shinmeicho of 867, and has been worshiped since ancient times. The deities worshipped are Kondawake no Mikoto, Obitanakatsuhiko no Mikoto, and Okinagaashihime no Mikoto, and the ceiling is decorated with several types of votive plaques.
