Kozono Kosaburo, the adopted son of Raishunukaze, built a branch family.
Located adjacent to the west side of Shunpukan, this two-story wooden gabled building has a tiled roof and is a traditional Japanese style building. The origins of the Fukkokan were in 1859, when Kozono, who was adopted by Yori Shunpu, sent his third son, Saburo, to set up a branch family and become independent. The family ran a salt and sake brewing business, and the grounds included a mortar, rice storehouse, storehouse, and new room (now the main residence of Hikari). Built in 1883, the two-story building has a hip-and-gable roof and the "bucho" (open door) between the shops remains intact.
