A unique museum that uses the entire temple
The Kaguyahime Museum has a fantastical atmosphere with artworks related to The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. The exhibition room, converted from a storehouse, displays Princess Kaguya by Kanabayashi Shintaro, a leading figure in wood-grain dolls. The second floor of the main hall houses the Kaguyahime Library, which houses books, documents, and research papers related to Princess Kaguya. Furthermore, from the attic of the main hall to the bamboo forest, you can see fairy tale panel paintings and good luck art by Sonoyama Shunji everywhere.
