Appreciate works of art in a natural environment with virgin forest

The museum opened in September 1996 as a place to exhibit and display approximately 800 artworks from Wood One's collection. The collection is divided into five main genres: modern Japanese paintings by Takahashi Yuichi, Kuroda Seiki, Kishida Ryusei, Yokoyama Taikan, Uemura Shōen and others, Meissen porcelain, Art Nouveau glass works, Chinese Qing dynasty ceramics, and Satsuma ware. Several special exhibitions are held each year, which are displayed in sequence.
