Tahoto

This Japanese-style building was built in 1523 and is commonly known as the Double Tower, with a height of 15.6m. The upper and lower tiers of this tower are different in shape, with the lower tier being square and the upper tier being circular, and the way they are put together shows the painstaking construction methods involved. As it is built on a small hill, it has a great view, with a panoramic view of Itsukushima Shrine and the surrounding area.
