A precious landscape where many huge rocks are piled up by the work of nature
Granite collapsed due to erosion, tumbled down from the mountains on both sides, and weathered over time to become rounded rock beads. The exposed area is about 7m high, 30m wide, and 100m long, with huge rock masses measuring 2-8m in diameter overlapping each other, and the strange combination of these rock masses creates a cavity large enough for a person to fit through. Numerous Mikado horseshoe bats live inside this sea of rocks, and it is also known as Bat Rock. Groundwater flows on the surface of the bedrock at the bottom, and cool air blows out from the mouth of the cave, even in summer. In 1964, it was designated a national natural monument.
