A cultivar of hornbeam with a very strange shape that grows only in this area in the world.
It is a kind of hornbeam that grows naturally in Haiya, Tahara, Oasa, Kitahiroshima-cho. Recent research has revealed that this unique morphology of Tenguside is a change caused by mutation and that it is inherited. There are more than 100 trees of various sizes growing in colonies of this rare agaricus, but in Japan, there are few places where trees created by mutation grow in colonies for generations, making it a very valuable region.
