Ishigaki is a masterpiece! Kikkawa Motoharu's residence (remains)

The remains of this mansion are said to have been built by Motoharu Yoshikawa, the second son of Motonari Mori. The stone walls of the mansion are 80m long, 3m high, and have a 2.6m gate in the middle. They are made of huge stones, and the stones are stacked vertically at equal intervals, with the rest stacked horizontally, showing the ingenuity of the stone wall craftsmen. There are also the graves of Motoharu and Motonaga. Numerous remains, such as toilets, wells, and gardens, have been excavated from the mansion ruins.
