It is a peninsula-shaped mountain range with an elevation of 187 meters, and on the east side there is a road that passes through Iwabuse to Nika in Takehara City, and on the west side there is a road that passes through Kaminami and Otoge to Saijo. It is said that the lord of the castle, Yukitomo Mitsunori, served as a close attendant to Kobayakawa Takakage and was appointed as the governor of Tajima. There is no trace of its former self today, and it is now a pine forest, but stonework remains here and there, making it a good place for a historical walk.
