The red bridge is a trademark! A pristine valley for the whole family
Located at the foot of Hattawara Dam, upstream of the Ashida River that flows through Fuchu City, Kawasa Gorge is a clear-flowing valley surrounded by untouched greenery. The riverbank is lined with natural rocks to create a babbling brook, and the gentle current makes it a great place to enjoy playing in the river to your heart's content. There are water slides, a campground, and a park golf course nearby, and the area is bustling with families who come to camp, day camp, swim in the river, and fish, especially during the summer holidays.
