It was built in 1511 (Eisho 8). The structural type is a three-bay square with a persimmon-roofed hipped roof, with the front one-bay passage being the outer sanctuary and the rear two bays being the inner sanctuary. The timber is relatively thick and sturdy, and the details such as the lintels are in excellent shape, making it an excellent example of architecture from the end of the Muromachi period. The inner sanctuary houses a wooden half-seated statue of Jizo Bodhisattva, a prefectural important cultural property. It is 84cm tall and made of inlaid wood with lacquer. It was built in 1338 (Kenmu 5) and is made of cypress wood.
