A tide-waiting hall where you can experience the folklore of Tomo where traditional industries live
Tomo, a town with a long history, is a place where traditional industries thrive and where many festivals and rituals take place. In the folklore exhibition corner, replicas and models of sea bream net, blacksmith, and homeishu sake shop fronts are displayed, along with materials related to festivals and rituals such as chosai (floats), chinowa (chongwa), and oyumi rituals. In addition, the museum also displays personal belongings such as the favorite koto of Miyagi Michio, a koto player with deep ties to Tomonoura.
