Pretty flowers growing in clusters in nature
Mukaihara Town is the southernmost area in Japan where dogtooth violets grow wild, and it is unusual that they grow in clusters on flat land. Every year, the lovely purple flowers of the dogtooth violets begin to bloom in early April, beautifully coloring the entire slopes, and the Mukaihara Dogtooth Violets Festival is held. On weekends during the festival, mobile food trucks and food and drink booths are lined up.
