The shrine complex is a prefectural natural monument and is the second shrine complex in Hiroshima Prefecture. Hachiman Shrine enshrined since the 2nd year of Engi

This shrine was enshrined as Hachiman Shrine in 902 and has a history of over 1000 years. The shrine grove has been designated a prefectural natural monument, and the row of giant cedar trees on the approach to the shrine is a spectacular sight. The sacred tree is a giant cedar known as Nagano-no-sugi, which is approximately 600 to 700 years old. A festival is also held here in the fall, and the sacred rituals offered at the time have been designated as an intangible folk cultural property of the prefecture. This power spot surrounded by forest is said to bring good fortune in recovery from illness, traffic safety, and household peace. It is also known as Yuki Hachiman Shrine.
