It is a waterfall with a height of about 30m along the mountain trail from Kumano Shrine to Mt. Ryuo. Because its appearance is reminiscent of the tail of a long-tailed bird, it is called "Torikami Falls" as opposed to "Torikami Falls" on Mt. Sentsū in Okuizumo Town, Shimane Prefecture.
