Fruit picking on the Tobishima Kaido! An experiential spot where you can experience the bounty of the Seto Inland Sea with all your senses

Located in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, on the Tobishima Kaido's scenic drive route is Megumi no Oka Kamagari. From the heights of Kamikamagari Island, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea. The highlight of the experience is the seasonal strawberry harvesting! From January to May, the strawberry harvesting experience is extremely popular! You can enjoy 40 minutes of all-you-can-eat ripe strawberries. From October to December, you can also enjoy picking mandarin oranges, grown in the Seto Inland Sea's sea breeze.

After enjoying the harvest, we recommend stopping by the on-site Herb Workshop. There are plenty of craft experiences to create memorable memories, including herbal tea, accessory making, and dyeing.

When you're feeling hungry, head to Megumi no Oka Restaurant for lunch. They offer a variety of set menus, including the Megumi Gozen, a tray-filled meal featuring super-fresh sashimi, crispy tempura, and small side dishes made with local vegetables. There's also a children's menu, so families can enjoy themselves. You can even bring your dog to the terrace seats, making it a great place for family trips with pets!
On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the "Grace Market" is held, where fresh Kamagari vegetables and other produce are sold. It's also a great way to take home some freshly picked local produce as a souvenir.
