He was given a family crest by the Asano family for his achievements in saving people according to the Shrine Law, and became Geibi Ryogoku Shrine Deity.

In 1470, Noma Okikatsu, lord of Yano-go Hatsuyoshi Castle, and Kagawa Katsushige, a priest, built Ozaki Hachiman Shrine, with the spirit of Tamayori Hachiman Shrine in Umi, Owari, as its guardian deity. It has been passed down through the Kagawa family ever since. The 11th priest, Kagawa Shogen Masanao, implemented the Shaso Law, which required storing grain in preparation for poor harvests and disasters, and provided relief to the people of 814 towns and villages. In 1781, for this achievement, the shrine was given the family crest of the feudal lord Asano family, and became the shrine of Geibi-Ryogoku Shasokura Chinju, with a stone monument erected within the grounds. The deities worshipped are Emperor Konda, Princess Akechi, and Princess Tamayori. In autumn, the annual autumn festival is held to pray for a good harvest.
