A pirate castle built on Kannonzaki, 56m above sea level, jutting out to the south of Mukojima. Along with Kozaki Castle on Innoshima, it controlled the Mekari Strait and was a key location for maritime traffic in Bingo. Its stone walls are almost completely intact, and the castle grounds are well preserved in their original state. The deep bay to the east of the castle is known as Fune Kakushi, and there is a canal-like structure carved into the rocks on the south side of the castle connecting the east and west bays.
