History Museum of Murakami Pirates who ruled the Seto Inland Sea during the Warring States period

The Murakami Kaizoku were known as "Japan's greatest pirates." Nojima Castle was one of their bases and was the setting for the novel "The Daughter of the Murakami Kaizoku." At the Murakami Kaizoku Museum, you can experience a number of Sengoku romances based on historical facts. This is the only pirate museum in Japan that can be enjoyed by both adults and children, with exhibits of valuable items handed down by the Noshima Murakami family and the opportunity to try on armor and kosode.
