Tomonoura, a city where good old days remain

In Tomonoura, a town where the good old days remain, a 150-year-old storehouse has been reborn as a museum. The exhibits here are called Art Brut, a mysterious form of art born from ultra-personal ideas. In this museum, the "chic" that the town has cultivated and the innovative "sensibility" collide, giving birth to new raw art with great power. Welcome to our little laboratory.

By car: Sanyo Expressway-Approximately 45 minutes from Fukuyama-higashi IC. Go straight south on Route 182. Approximately 15 minutes to National Highway 2 → After passing National Highway 2, follow the signs for Tomonoura and go straight for about 30 minutes. Sanyo Expressway-Approximately 45 minutes from Fukuyama Nishi IC. Go straight on National Highway No. 2 Matsunaga Bypass toward Fukuyama, about 20 minutes → After turning right at the Kashimabashi Nishizume intersection, drive along the Ashida River with Kusado Inari on your right and follow the Tomonoura direction sign for 40 minutes.
