Exhibiting materials from the construction of the Nukui Dam

Nukui Dam is a multipurpose dam completed in March 2002 in Akiota Town, Yamagata County, Hiroshima Prefecture, located west of the center of the Chugoku region. It was built in the middle reaches of the Takiyama River, one of the tributaries of the Ota River, and plays four major roles: flood control for the Ota River, preservation of the river environment, supply of drinking water to Hiroshima City and the surrounding area, and power generation. The Nukui Dam Museum exhibits materials from the time of the dam's construction. You can also enjoy the view from the rooftop observation deck.
