In 1065, he solicited a spirit from Usa Hachimangu in Buzen Province (currently Oita Prefecture), and then moved to Shomiyayama in 1163. The main shrine has been renovated several times, and the current main shrine was rebuilt in 1961. There is Amitabha, which was built in 1701 in the precincts. It is a historical building that retains the events of the Shinto and Buddhist era, and is designated as an important cultural property of the town.
