A park with a swimming pool and tennis courts located on the largest island in Hiroshima City

Ninoshima Island is located south of Hiroshima Bay Port and is the largest island in Hiroshima City. The mountain towering over the island is called "Aki Kofuji" and its beautiful shape can be seen from Hiroshima City. Ninoshima Marine Park is located on Ninoshima Island and can be reached by boat from Hiroshima Port. Ninoshima Marine Park has facilities that can be used for multiple purposes throughout the year, such as tennis courts and athletic areas. In 2023, Hiroshima City Ninoshima Marine Youth Nature House, located within the park, will be closed due to renovation work, but it is scheduled to be renamed "Hiroshima City Ninoshima Welcome Exchange Center" and reopen in 2024.

From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway train bound for Hiroshima Port and get off at the last stop. Take a boat from Hiroshima Port and get off at "Ninoshima Port" and walk for 25 minutes or get off at "Gakuen Sanbashi-mae" and walk for 15 minutes
