It takes about 30 minutes on foot from Takehara Station on the JR Kure Line to the entrance of the Oi Asahi Mountain Trail on National Highway No. 185, and about 1 hour and 30 minutes on foot to the summit. About 20 minutes by car from Takehara Station on the JR Kure Line to the mountaintop parking lot, and about 1 minute on foot to the mountaintop. About 40 minutes by car from the Sanyo Expressway Kochi IC to the mountaintop parking lot. About 90 minutes on foot from Oi bus stop.
