Founded in 773, this is the oldest shrine in Innoshima, located on a hill overlooking the sea. The main deity, Oyamatsumi-no-Okami, was revered as the guardian deity of the Innoshima Murakami Navy in the Middle Ages. Today, he is worshipped as the "god of architecture," "god of ears," and "god of bicycles," and many worshippers come from all over the country to worship him.
