Frog Stone Observatory

Located in the southwestern part of Ikina Island, this wooden observation deck blends in with the surrounding nature, offering views of the town of Ikina in the foreground and the ships and islands floating in the Seto Inland Sea in the distance. The promenade that runs along the ridge allows you to enjoy hiking while taking in the views and getting in touch with nature. In spring, the cherry blossoms bloom here, making it a spot where you can really feel the arrival of spring. There is also a huge rock along the promenade that has a mysterious legend about the sound of frogs being heard from it, and it is from this legend that it is called "Frog Stone" (Frog Stone), and the name of the observation deck is also derived.
