Regular route connecting Takehara Port and Okunoshima

Regular ferry service connecting Takehara Port (Minatocho, Takehara City) and Okunoshima. You can enjoy a 25-minute boat trip to Okunoshima. Previously, Okunoshima was only accessible from Tadanoumi Port, Mihara Port, and Sunami Port (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only), but with the launch of services from Takehara Port, you can now make a tour of the Takehara City Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Takehara Port is about 7 minutes by local bus from JR Takehara Station.
