The 50,000 azaleas, one of the best in the Chugoku region, are very powerful. Plum blossoms in early spring are also beautiful

Misumi Park, adjacent to the grounds of Misumi Shrine, is one of the most famous azalea spots in the Chugoku region. Approximately 50,000 azaleas, including Hirado azaleas and Kurume azaleas, are planted in Misumi Park, and an azalea festival is held every year during the flowering season. Climbing the slope where the azaleas bloom, there is a grove of approximately 1,000 plum trees, and in early spring, beautiful red, pink, and white plum blossoms bloom in abundance.
