*Please note that the facility will be closed in 2023 due to major renovation work. Due to its geographic location just 4km from Hiroshima Port, Ninoshima has had a deep connection with Hiroshima and the war. Immediately after the atomic bomb was dropped, more than 10,000 seriously injured people were brought to Ninoshima, and many of them died despite the efforts of rescue. As victims and perpetrators of war, we visit the ruins of the war on Ninoshima, where many ruins remain, and learn the value of peace. In the canoeing experience, you can acquire basic knowledge and skills of canoeing. You will get to know "water" and become familiar with "water", think independently about how to act in harmony with nature, and feel a sense of accomplishment as you challenge yourself to the unknown.
