A shrine that has survived the atomic bombing and has been in existence since the early Meiji era, when the site was moved to the seaside as land reclamation progressed.

Ryugu Shrine is a shrine located in Kusatsu Higashi, Nishi Ward. The main hall was built in the early Meiji period. As the land was gradually reclaimed, the shrine site was moved toward the seaside. It was hit by the atomic bomb on August 6, 1945 (Showa 20), 4.78 kilometers from the hypocenter.

From Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Main Line and get off at "Nishihiroshima Station", change to the Hiroshima Electric Railway (streetcar), get off at "Kusatsu", and walk for 8 minutes.
