A shrine built in Meiji 3 that withstood the atomic bombing and still retains its appearance today.

Sagimori Shrine is a shrine located in Kusatsu Higashi, Nishi Ward. The main hall was built in 1870 (Meiji 3). It was bombed on August 6, 1945 (Showa 20), 4.93 kilometers from the hypocenter.

From Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Main Line and get off at Nishi-Hiroshima Station. Transfer to the Hiroshima Dentetsu Tram (streetcar) and get off at Kusatsu, then walk for 2 minutes.
