A tree that survived the atomic bombing in the garden of a private home

The Chinese hackberry tree on the bank of the Kamiyanagi Bridge over the Kyobashi River is a tree that was exposed to the atomic bomb and was registered based on information provided by a citizen who had grown it in his garden before the war. It is 1,400 meters away from the hypocenter. It is 18 meters tall and has a trunk circumference of 2.30 meters, so it is as splendid as the other trees.
