Date of construction: August 6, 1967. Inside the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall (now the Atomic Bomb Dome), the headquarters of Hiroshima Local Wood Co., Ltd. was located. The company was hit directly by the atomic bomb, and over 100 employees died in the bombing inside and outside the dome. Purpose of construction: To pray for the repose of the souls of those who died in the line of duty, and for eternal world peace.
